My name is Marnee Clark. I have been an Early Childhood Educator for over 10 years and I have worked with a variety of students
in various environments. I am seeking the opportunity to share the skills and knowledge that I have acquired over the years with teach-
ers in need of newer strategies and progressive models of instruction. Additionally, I am eager to learn new practices myself while shar-
ing cultural experiences with students, teachers, and my own children. In this age of information, our planet is getting smaller as Global
Trade increases and technology makes us more connected to each other. Now more than ever, it is important that all children gain the
skills required to function in the world we are creating.
The meaningful work of CEED program in Cabrera, Dominican Republic offers a model that could be implemented in many other areas in
which children are in need of a high standard of education. By being a part of this important work I would have the chance to touch the
lives of many others while enhancing and enriching my own.
